We don’t know when Total War: Warhammer 3 is coming, but we do know that the game is under development. There are many hints that tell us what could be coming in in the last game of the Total War series. Creative Assembly has released the full map of the Total War: Warhammer game series. The map has details of all the whole Total War Events.
The map was the whole map for Total War: Warhammer with a blank area of the mountains that are situated alongside the Badlands and the Empire. After some analysis, we can conclude what areas could Total War: Warhammer 3 would comprise. The area that the game would comprise could be Dark Lands, Nippon, Ogre Kingdoms, Grand Cathay, and the Hinterlands of Khuresh. Dragon Isles could either become a part of DLC or a part of the main campaign. Not just this, we have a hand on few things that could come into the game. Here’s what we know-
New Sieges For Total War: Warhammer 3
In a recent Total War Livestream, the creative Assembly revealed that they would be giving Total War: Warhammer 3 completely new sieges. They will get a complete rework. This news was a delight to the fans who complained about the siege system for the game. Especially the gate bug, which even today is creating problems in crucial battles. As of now, we don’t really know how the new siege would bring changes, but it will be safe to say that changes will be seen in faction names, the creative Assembly will take inspiration from modders who have been working to create some crazy elaborate maps since the first game. That could mean players will get to see more streets, architectural features, chokepoints, and many other tactical varieties.
Would White Wolf and Red Duke Get Their Campaigns?
For a long time now, fans have been wondering if Boris Todbringer of Middenland and the Red Duke of Mousillon will get their own campaign? Well, we know now. In the same live stream where we came to know about the siege, Creative Assembly also confirmed that Boris Todbringer would get a campaign starting in Middenheim, in Total War: Warhammer 3. While we did not get any confirmation about Red Duke, Creative Assembly did say that they would do a Mousillon campaign due to the unique start point. That means we could get to see a campaign eventually.
More Chaos Coming Up In Total War: Warhammer 3
Total War: Warhammer Review
In the first two Total War: Warhammer, Chaos made a bit of a bad reputation. Initially, there was the whole pre-order failure that had made everyone very nervous. Many thought that Chaos was the quintessential faction of Warhammer Fantasy. So, everybody started questioning its position in the DLC faction. Later they came in and were pretty okay. While until now, Chaos had been missing a lot of Warhammer DLC’s units, Total War: Warhammer will do it right. The last game of the series might bring in factions for all the four Chaos Gods, including- Tzeentch, Khorne, Slaanesh, and Nurgle. Each of them would come bearing their iconic units like rot infested daemons, blood-crazed berserkers, deadly daemonettes, and reality-defying horrors.
Total War: Warhammer 3: Is Kislev Coming In?
While we know that Total War: Warhammer 3 is bringing in the worst of Chaos, we can also expect the game to bring in their closest neighbor- Kislev. It is a bastion, actually a Russian themed civilization of very powerful hardy Cossacks living in the far north of Old World, in a very close to Chaos waste. Over time, they have opposed many Chaos invasions using their ice magic and winged hussars.
Characters like The Empire and the High Elves have been very popular factions in their own games. The idea of races isn’t a new one for total war. Total War: Warhammer 3 needs a good guy and other than Cathay, Kislev seems like a great option
What Is Happening With The Monstrous Cavalry?
Total War: Warhammer 3 is coming in to be the clash of monstrous cavalry. So, they will be bringing Demigryph Knights too. The last game wouldn’t just bring the little monsters; they will bring the heaviest cavalry setting one has ever seen. The Ogre Kingdoms have Mourngangs. They are giant saber-tooth tigers with giants ogres on their backs. So, we can expect Korne’s Chaos faction coming in with their iconic skull crushers.
A New Addition- The Survival Mode
Chaos invasion will be a big part of Total War: Warhammer 3, but that wouldn’t be the only part. It is the last game, and Chaos will be at their best. We can expect that gamers will get a campaign survival mode in the end times. It could feel like playing the western Roman Empire in Attila with endless waves of enemies and slowly bleeding into an attrition-based-death.
Surviving mars: deluxe upgrade pack. Rather than making the game full of sluggish battles, creators would, for sure, make it a dramatic story with many worthy encounters. So, the survival mode would be able to monopolize on heroic last stands that are very common in this game.
Much Bigger and Better Game Coming In!
Until now, enthusiasts have seen many giant monsters and artillery pieces. Queen Bess and Dread Saurian are only a trailer for what is to come. The Ogre kingdoms have had many effective monster races. Total War: Warhammer 3 will not lag behind. The final game has smaller units but bigger individuals. They would either bring Thundertusks, Whether Stonehorns or even the Orge Kingdoms, in a hefty race. The game can bring in big monsters like K’Daii Destroyer, Bale Taurus, or maybe even Verminlords.
All the Total War enthusiasts, you are in for a big one. Since the game is so big, we know developers will need more time to develop it. Hence, we cannot even predict when enthusiasts would get the game. But, we will keep updating this space with all the information. So, you stay tuned.
